It's done deal with United, Mourinho tells friends

Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has disclosed to friends and associates he will become Manchester United’s manager at the end of the season, according to reports in several British newspapers today February 10.

Top newspapers which include The Daily Mail, Daily Star, Daily Mirror and Daily Telegraph all quoted an unnamed source close to the former Real Madrid manager as saying the contract to replace Louis Van Gaal was a “done deal”.
It is claimed Mourinho’s three-year-deal until 2019 will see him pick up £15.5m-a-year (20m euros).
It would be recalled that Mourinho who was sacked by Chelsea in December 2015, last week revealed that he would be back in management, preferably in England.
Also, Van Gaal, who has another year left on his contract after this season has been heavily criticised by fans of Manchester United and also in the media and these has raised speculation about his future at United.
It was also reported that the pressure is taking a toll on Van Gaal’s family life which could prompt him to walk away from Old Trafford at the end of the current campaign.
